The passageway through the Louvre Palace to the Cour Carrée (Square Court), one of the palace's main courtyards. I travelled all the way from Canada then rode a bicycle across Paris at 4 AM with one purpose: to photograph my vision for “Sunrise at the Louvre” which you can see here: https://deepotter.ca/featured/sunrise-at-the-louvre-dee-potter.html. But then this caught my eye while wondering through the empty passages of this magnificent landmark. The light streaming from the Cour Carrée through the open arches of the former palace froze me in my tracks to make this photo.
