It's a Grizzly Bear Sanctuary where no water-craft is allowed except for the tour boat we were on and no access inland to this pristine wildlife preserve. Early winter brought 10 days of fog and sub zero temperatures to the valley. A coat of frost applied every morning crusted all vegetation with a thick layer creating beautiful images.
