Canon EOS R5, F-stop f/11, exposure time 1/250sec, ISO- 250, Focal length 240 mm. Adjusted the exposure, levels, saturation and then trimmed the top area. A mild vignette was added. Taken on 7th January, 2024 during my visit to Cambodia.

Up in northern British Columbia, an inlet called the Khutzeymateen Valley is home to the largest population of Grizzlies in this province. It's a Grizzly Bear Sanctuary where no water-craft is allowed except for the tour boat we were on and no access inland to this pristine wildlife preserve. Silence while we were in this inlet was paramount and only whispers were allowed. Here we see a couple digging for clams while they wait for the salmon run.

Early winter brought 10 days of fog and sub zero temperatures to the valley. A coat of frost applied every morning crusted all vegetation with a thick layer creating beautiful images.

On the west coast of Vancouver Island, subject to heavy weather, this tree survives the ages in a lake that is fed by salt water when the tide is in, fresh when out. Dubbed as the most photographed tree in Canada.
