Every year, Christmas lighting and decor as well as activities and performances along Orchard Road - a 2.5-km shopping and dining belt in the city - are a major attraction for both locals and tourists alike. This is a busy intersection. I waited until the traffic thinned out to take this picture.

Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Walking along Orchard Road the other night, I happened to arrive at this spot just minutes before the countdown began to this “snowfall show”. An impressive display of colourful lights changing every few seconds against the backdrop of the 14-metre-tall Christmas tree and “snowfall”! Fun!
