Finally got a decent hummingbird shot in my backyard, at least by my low standard of shooting them! I do have trouble attracting them to my yard.

I love hummingbirds, but I have rarely to never got a good motion photo with a decent background. I do like this one that I managed to capture in Costa Rica. Not as good as those of others, but for me, a bit of a milestone!

Getting good interesting (or at least decent). Bird photos have been elusive for me

It was time to get rid of the pumpkins, so I took this photo on my tabletop studio.
Added By: Joe Bottomlee
I have not done any tabletop photography in years. The lighting was natural with a reflector on the right. Since I have a few physical limitations now, this will be my main form of photography.

I don’t do macro photography. So, this was something new for me. This photo was taken with a small macro lens — a gift — attached to my mobile phone camera. Quite challenging as I found it very hard to keep the mobile camera steady at such a close range.

Shooting down into a glass of wine to get a close up of bubbles was another attempt at using the small macro lens on my mobile phone camera.

I have never used a fisheye lens. But, I made an attempt with the fisheye lens that came with the gift of the macro lens. I discovered it was not at all easy to shoot with a fisheye lens!

would have never thought of photographing this
street photography is something I dont do but I like shadows so this combines a new one with something I enjoy
I dont like taking people's photos so this is a new for me
My first images submitted in the first week of the 52 Week SlickPic Challenge were a flower, an ICM Trees, and the Mira Building in San Francisco. For the final Challenge I have a new flower, a new ICM Trees, and the Verde building in San Francisco also designed by the Studio Gang, the same architects who designed the Mira Building. The year went by so quickly and it is hard to believe this is our final Challenge. It was so rewarding to participate in this Challenge and to view all the photographs that were submitted. Thank you all for your positive comments and thank you to Sam and the SlickPic team for providing this opportunity to share my photos .

Every day for 2 weeks I would burst about 15 water balloons with one or two being acceptable.
Added By: RayChatterton
I regard these 10% of balloons as successful because they still have part of the balloon intact.
Added By: RayChatterton
I had to burst 200 water balloons to get about 20 successful images.
