This river is known as Belkıs water in Antalya. I was fascinated by the traces of the sun on the clouds in the evening on this road that I passed by coincidence. I thought I must take this image, which would be distorted after 10 minutes at most, so I pressed the shutter button without a tripod. Great...

The passageway through the Louvre Palace to the Cour Carrée (Square Court), one of the palace's main courtyards. I travelled all the way from Canada then rode a bicycle across Paris at 4 AM with one purpose: to photograph my vision for “Sunrise at the Louvre” which you can see here: https://deepotter.ca/featured/sunrise-at-the-louvre-dee-potter.html. But then this caught my eye while wondering through the empty passages of this magnificent landmark. The light streaming from the Cour Carrée through the open arches of the former palace froze me in my tracks to make this photo.

Taken from inside the Musee d'Orsay in Paris and looking towards Sacre Couer. My original photo had a little more color in the foreground, but not too much. Still, I darkened the people to make it even more "silhouette" because I'm not sure what the exact parameters are to be a true silhouette.
The canyonscape of Ethiopia's Simien Mountains with its iconic animal, the gelada monkey. To protect themselves from leopards, they spend the night on tiny ledges on the impossibly steep cliffs and climb back on the plateau at daybreak to graze. Which they do with grim determination all day because this grass is not nutritious.
